Grey Whale Trip (Seasonal, January to March) - $180 per person (minimum 3 people). The day trip of a lifetime! Leave early to travel to the Pacific whale lagoons. Get up close and personal with grey whales and their calves as they relax in the breeding lagoons after the world’s longest migration. Leave at 6am, return by 6:30pm. Includes transportation and a scallop feed!
Whale Shark Research Trip (Seasonal, October to April) - $110 per person (minimum 3 people). Snorkel with whale sharks! Join researchers, recording data and measuring the worlds largest fish! Bring an underwater camera. Trip is 3.5 hrs long and leaves from La Paz. Transportation is extra - $40 per person.
Learn to Surf Day Trip (Seasonal, January to March) - $120 per person (minimum 3 people). Take a trip to our super safe and sandy secret spot and practice on gentle rollers. 1.5 hours away! Includes lesson, lunch, and soft foam longboards that make learning easy and fun.
Waterfall and Hot Springs Tour - $100 per person (minimum 3 people). Visit an oasis in the desert in the foothills of the Sierra de La Laguna. 35 foot high waterfall with a deep pool for swimming or jumping for the brave! Hot springs are natural and very warm. Includes lunch and transportation. Depart at 8am and return at 4:30 pm.
El Triunfo and Cactus Sanctuary Tour - $45 per person (minimum 3 people). Visit an old mining town, music museum, and plant garden with some of Baja’s tallest Cacti. Half day.
Todos Santos Town and Beach tour - $100 per person (minimum 3 people). Visit surf beaches, a palm oasis, art galleries and artisan handicraft shops. Full day.
La Paz City and Beach Tour - $150 (up to 11 people). Take a meander along the beachside Malecón with superb restaurants and bars. Visit the local markets, local whale museum, or relax on the pristine beaches. Full day.
Local Guided Hikes: Las Canoas Arroyo or Coastal Route - $45 per person (minimum 2 people). Explore the mountain region in our backyard in a 2-4 hour hike. Look for gray fox, lizards, iguanas, birds, interesting rock formations, wildflowers, various trees and cacti with spectacular views!
Local Guided Hike to Cave Paintings - $80 per person (minimum 2 people). This 3 hour loop trail offers a moderate hike in which you will cross arroyos with palms, observe birds, and learn the names of native plants and their uses from our knowledgeable guides. The cave paintings are estimated to be more than 1500 years old and include a drawing of yellow fin tuna and a wahoo!
Horseback Riding - $95 per person. Start your ride on a ranch and end on the beach. This 2 hour guided ride will take you through the beautiful cactus forests and out to the sandy dunes of the La Ventana Bay.
Spanish Class - $25 per hour. One-on-one tutoring at whatever level you need. Educational and fun!
Cooking Class - $25 per person (minimum 2 people). Learn to make rellenos, handmade tortillas, salsas and local Mexican specialties!
La Ventana’s Locally World Famous Hot Dog Tour - $25 per person (minimum 3 people). Join the Baja Hot Dog culture as we take you on a tour of our various local stands. Sample a local phenomena! Advance through the night from a level-1 dog, and push the limits with a level-6! You provide the drinks, we provide the food and fun! 7-10 pm.
