Kite, Wing, and Foil at Isla Cerralvo
Isla Cerralvo Wind Safari
Boat 8 miles across the Sea of Cortez to Isla Cerralvo, kite or wing in clear island water, enjoy a secluded beach lunch, then ride the wind all the way back to La Ventana with support boats nearby.
Boat out, kite the island, ride home with the wind
This is not a normal beach session. It is a full Sea of Cortez adventure day with boat transport, island riding, lunch, optional water activities, support boats, and a downwind finish back to La Ventana.
Meet at Palapas
Start at Palapas Ventana, review the day’s wind and sea conditions, load gear, and head out by boat toward Isla Cerralvo.
Boat 8 miles out
Cross open Sea of Cortez water to the island with your crew, support team, kite or wing gear, food, and optional snorkel or SUP setup.
Island session + lunch
Kite or wing near the island, take a secluded lunch break, swim, snorkel, SUP, or relax while the team watches the conditions.
Ride back to La Ventana
When the wind lines up, experienced riders can ride the wind back toward La Ventana with support boats following the route.
Start with a Sea of Cortez crossing
Your day begins at Palapas Ventana with the boat loaded for the island. Our team handles the crossing, support logistics, and beach setup so riders can focus on the adventure.
Kite or wing at Isla Cerralvo
Bring your own kite or wing gear, or ask us about rental gear. We help with launch and landing support, and the support boat keeps the day flexible as conditions change.
Bring gear or rent
Experienced riders can bring their own kite or wing setup. Rental gear may also be available by request, depending on sizes, wind forecast, and rider needs.
- Bring your own kite or wing gear
- Ask about rental gear availability
- Launch and landing support
- Support boat assistance during the route
Secluded lunch between sessions
Pause the action for an island lunch in a secluded setting. It is the perfect reset between the boat crossing, island riding, snorkeling, SUP, or the final wind-powered ride home.
- Beach-style island lunch
- Time to relax between sessions
- Great for mixed groups with riders and non-riders
- Pair the day with snorkeling, SUP, or scuba add-ons
Snorkel, SUP, or scuba add-on
This trip can work for mixed groups. Riders can kite or wing while others join for boat time, snorkeling, SUP, beach lunch, and Sea of Cortez wildlife possibilities.
Easy water add-on
Snorkeling can be added when conditions and timing allow, making the trip fun for non-riders too.
Relaxed island option
SUP can be included for guests who want a calmer way to enjoy the island and clear water.
Optional add-on
Ask about scuba as an optional add-on. Availability depends on the group, schedule, and conditions.
Downwind back to La Ventana
The signature finish is the ride home. When the wind is right, experienced kiters and wingers can ride from the island side back toward La Ventana with support boats along the way.
- Wind-powered return route toward La Ventana
- Support boats positioned for assistance
- Launch and landing help from the team
- One of the most memorable rides in Baja
