When are the whale sharks in La Paz?
One of the questions we get most often is: when are the whale sharks in La Paz? Well, given that it’s one of our favorite times of year, we are happy to answer! Whale shark season in the La Paz area is November through April. Here you can see one of our Baja whale shark experiences during November:
Whale shark tours are, by far, one of the favorite tours to give at our resort. We often tie these excursions in with gray whale watching, as well as learning to kite board for some of our clients. Not only do our guests enjoy watching whale sharks, but some even enjoy getting in the water with them! We never touch whale sharks, but swimming with them as they glide gracefully through the water is an absolute delight.
