Every winter, gray whales and their newborn calves fill the breeding lagoons on the Pacific side of Baja. We run day trips and overnighters from our Margarita Island outpost so you can meet them eye to eye from a panga - with lodging, meals, captains, and transport handled by Palapas Ventana.
Lean over the rail for spy-hops, breaches, and the famous friendly Mag Bay approaches. Mothers often bring calves close to the boat. Bring a rain jacket and a warm hat.
